SWT-01     Selector switch for bike audio systems with on-bike speakers

SWT-01 is designed to be used in conjunction with a MUS-03; it allows the selection of sound to the on-bike speakers and/or to the StarCom1:

1)       Speakers only.
2)       Speakers and starcom headset.
3)       StarCom1 headset only.

Wiring installation:

1)       Locate the right speaker cable, identify the +ve wire (this is usually marked with a white trace, red wire or moulded rib in the wire) and cut the single wire.
2)       Select the right cable set from the SWT-01 (right viewing from the front, correct way up) and connect the RED wire to the +ve speaker wire on the audio
system side, connect the GREEN wire to the speaker side. As shown above.
3)       Connect the BLUE wire to the black/white wire on the MUS-03 cable.
4)       Connect the Black wire from MUS-03 to the –ve speaker wire.
5)       Repeat steps 1 to 4 for the left speaker using the MUS-03 left cable.
6)       Ensure all wires are secured to the bike and will not flap free

Switch installation

Using the releasable ties on the rear of the switch, secure it to a convenient position allowing easy and safe access to operate the switch, usually on or near the handlebars.

Warning

Incorrect connections may cause damage to your audio system, if you are not confident it wiring the system please consult your dealer.

All cabling should be installed so that it will not flap free. There should be no cable slack that could potentially catch in the moving parts of the vehicle. The rider must be able to hear warnings from other road users at all times. The volume must be set at a level to allow this.
