StarCom1 Throat/neck mic Headset System

Introduction

The Starcom1 neck mic headset is designed for easy use, they comprise of a neck mounted microphone that will pick up your voice through the sound vibrations from your voice box and connected neck bones.
The headset is splashproof and can be used in damp and rainy conditions.
The Ear plugs are silicon and designed to be easy to dismantle to allow washing in soapy water.

 Installation is easy.
1. Place the neck band into position

Your voice will be picked up on the flat surface placed against your neck.

It is very important that the microphone makes very good contact with your skin, so always bend the necklace to a tighter diameter approximately 6 to 8cm prior to fitting to your neck.

For best pick-up results place the microphone high up on your neck The microphone should be 2 to 3cm to the side of your throat.

Test the actual position by having the system fully connected and talking into the mic with a friend listening. It may take a few trials and adjustments to find the best position to suit the individual’s neck. It the microphone is to low on the neck the voice pick-up will be poor quality, muffled and low volume.

Ear plug speakers
